In late April 2025, EmergyCare’s facilities team identified significant structural issues in the Wash Bay area of our headquarters along the 19th Street (north) side of the building. Emergency stabilization efforts began immediately, including installing external wall supports and I-beams to protect the roof structure and prevent further collapse.
As work progressed, additional areas of concern were discovered, including structural deterioration in the adjoining vehicle bay, which houses several of our wheelchair transport vehicles, our SWAT support vehicle, and special event response units. These vehicles are essential to EmergyCare’s ability to meet a wide variety of patient and community needs across northwestern Pennsylvania.
What started as a focused repair project has now evolved into a much larger, multi-phase restoration effort critical to the safety of our staff and the continuity of operations, as this is a high-traffic, mission-critical zone. The estimated cost for all the repairs needed is $110,000.
Your gift will help protect the equipment, vehicles, and people carrying out EmergyCare’s daily lifesaving mission. Please help build a stronger foundation for the future of EMS in our region.
We are incredibly grateful for your generous donation toward the much-needed repairs of our wash bay area. This space plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of our emergency vehicle fleet—including ambulances, wheelchair vans, and specialty response units.
Your support ensures that our team has a reliable and functional facility to clean, restock, and maintain the vehicles that are essential to providing life-saving care across our region. Because of you, we can continue to protect the health and safety of our patients, crews, and communities.
Thank you for standing with us and making a lasting impact.
With heartfelt appreciation,
The EmergyCare Team
